Outlook Login Mohawk Email FAQs

Introduction

Access your email using the Outlook Web App (OWA) or Outlook desktop/mobile apps. When corresponding with other members of the college community, use your Mohawk email account.

What is my Mohawk Email Address?

Your Mohawk email address uses your first and last name and may include numbers or dashes. DO NOT use your MohawkID (9-digits@mohawkcollege.ca) as an email address when filling in forms.

If you are not sure what your Mohawk email is, find it using these instructions:

  1. Log in to your Mohawk Outlook account.
  2. Click on the round icon with your initials (or your photo) from the top right of your screen and click View Account.

  3. You can find your email address on the Overview page.

How do I log into my Mohawk Email?

Outlook Web App (OWA)

  1. Go to Outlook Web.
  2. Enter your MohawkID in this format: 000101060@mohawkcollege.ca and click Next
  3. Enter your password and click Sign in

The instructions shown below include how to log in using Outlook apps on desktop, Android and iOS as recommended by Mohawk College.

 

Outlook Desktop Apps Android App iOS App

Install Outlook Desktop App through your Microsoft 365 account. Read the Microsoft 365 Guide for more information.

 

To add your Mohawk Email to your Outlook Desktop App, see Add an email account to Outlook.

  1. Install the Microsoft Outlook app from Google Play Store and open it.
  2. Tap ADD ACCOUNT.
  3. Enter your MohawkID@mohawkcollege.ca, then tap Continue.
  4. Enter your password and tap Sign in.
  5. Verify your identity using multi-factor authentication if needed.

  2. Enter your MohawkID@mohawkcollege.ca, then tap Add Account.
  3. Enter your password and tap Sign in.

Having trouble logging in?

Forgot password?

You can reset your password by following these instructions: How do I reset my MohawkID password?

If you are unable to reset your password, contact IT Service Desk.

Multi-Factor Authentication method not working?

If you are on campus, you can update your MFA method by following these steps:

  1. Go to My Sign-ins. page.

  2. Remove the verification method that isn’t working and then re-add it.

If you are not on campus, contact IT Service Desk to have your MFA reset, so you can set it up again.

What happens to my Mohawk Email after graduation?

Student accounts are active for 1 year after the last day of class in which they were registered. Students are encouraged to copy personal items to personal storage and anticipate the closure of their accounts. Mailbox contents are not recoverable after account closure.
