Step 1: Create an Autodesk account
Go to the Autodesk Education Hub and click on "Get Started", then create an account. If you already have an Autodesk Account skip to Step 3, you may be asked to validate your enrolment if you had not done so.
Step 2: Validate your Autodesk Education License
- Autodesk product page, then click on Get Educational Access
- Choose Student from the dropdown menu
- Enter birthdate
- Educational Institution information:
- Choose Canada
- Enter Mohawk College's address
- Fennell: 135 Fennell Ave W, Hamilton, ON L9C 0E5
- Stoney Creek: 481 Barton St, Stoney Creek, ON L8E 2L7
- Choose University/Post - Secondary
- Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology
- Enter website www.mohawkcollege.ca
- Enter your start date
- Enter your graduation date - choose a date in April of the year you expect to graduate
- Click confirm
Step 3: Navigate to the Autodesk Education Hub and sign in
If you are currently not signed in, the sign-in button is located near the top-right corner of the window
Step 4: Find the application you need
Click on “Get Product” after finding the application, then follow the on-screen prompts to continue the installation.
Note: Be sure to have the latest version of the software running in order to have your account validation work. You must download AutoCAD before installing a specialized application eg: AutoCad Electrical
