How do I use InStage for an Assignment?

Step 1: Create Your Account

You will receive a link for your instructor to register for an account. After clicking the link, you will be brought to this sign up page (see below). Here you will be able to enter your email and name, and choose to opt in to monthly emails. (You can opt out at any point).

Step 2: Confirm Your Email

Once you create your account, you will need to confirm your account through the email activation button. Just click on join and it will log you into your new account.

Step 3: Sign In to Your Account

After clicking this link, you will be redirected to the sign in page. This may take a few seconds to redirect. You will now be able to sign in to your new account.

Step 4: Retrieve Your Login Code

Paste In Your Login Code: Once you enter your email and click sign in, you will get an email sign in code that will act as your temporary passcode.

Step 5: Access InStage

Copy and Paste The Code: You can now take that code from your email and paste it into InStage and it will automatically log you in. If it does not take you directly to the simulation set up page, just click on the original link from your instructor again and it should take you directly to the set up page for that specific assignment.

How do I use the InStage Self-Service Portal?

Step 1: Go to the InStage Self-Service Portal.

Step 2: Enter your Mohawk Email address and Name when prompted and click on "SignUp".

Step 3: You will receive a confirmation that an email will be sent with next steps.

Step 4: In your Mohawk Email, you will receive an email to activate your account. Click on the "Activate My Account" to complete registration

Step 5: Once you have click on the button, you will be logged in to InStage, ready to view simulations.
