Why can't I see my course in MyCanvas?

Your courses will show up in MyCanvas on the first day of your scheduled class.

  1. Full-time: check your timetable and the Academic Calendar for the first day of scheduled classes. If you haven't registered or chosen your timetable see: How do I register and choose my timetable. Please be aware it takes up to 24 hours for courses to populate in MyCanvas after you have chosen your timetable.
  2. Apprenticeship: check your Mohawk email and personal email for information
  3. Continuing Education: check your registration email for information.

Your instructor needs to publish the course for viewing. You can check your courses from within MyCanvas if you go to All Courses where you can see a list of all your courses current and past. If your current course is not a clickable link, then your instructor has not published it yet.

If you have concerns about your course not showing up on the day it should be available, please allow 24 hours for your instructor to make any final changes before it is published for viewing. If your course is still not showing in MyCanvas you can email your Program area for assistance.

Continuing Education (CE) students contact your program areas for help with registration or missing courses.

Apprenticeship students contact the Apprenticeship Hub (check your email).
